Transport Statement and Transport Assessment

AMNI Transportation has produced Transport Statements / Transport Assessments to support planning application submissions. Some of our recent work is described below.

Transport Statement – Clayton-le-Moors

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Transport Statement to support a planning application for an extension to an existing distribution warehouse. AMNI Transportation worked closely with the architect and provided input into the development of the Access Statement for the development proposal.

AMNI Transportation produced a Transport Statement to support the development proposal and responded to points made during the consultation response so that the number of planning conditions attached to the development was minimised.

Transport Statement – Oldham Road Manchester

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Transport Statement to support a planning application for a change in use from a food distribution warehouse into a gym.

As part of the work, AMNI Transportation undertook site observations to determine the actual capacity of traffic signals operating close to the development site. This information was used in the Transport Statement to evidence the available capacity within the local network and demonstrate that the proposed development would have negligible impact on the road network.

Transport Statement – Oldham Road Manchester

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Transport Statement to support a planning application for a mixed-use retail park consisting of food retail, drive-through coffee shop, general retail and a leisure use.

AMNI Transportation worked closely with the air quality consultant and the architect to develop the overall planning submission.

As part of the commission, AMNI Transportation developed detailed trip generation methodologies on the proposed uses to demonstrate that all the traffic would not be new trips to the development as some would be passby trips (ie already on the road network and passing the site).

Traffic Report – Christie Way, Manchester

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Traffic Report to support a planning application for a residential development on an existing park and ride site.

As part of the commission, AMNI Transportation undertook site observations to determine the actual usage and traffic generation of the park and ride site and used this to compare against the proposed traffic generating potential of the residential development.

The application was approved.

Traffic Report – Queensbury, Bradford

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Traffic Report to support a planning application for a residential development on former church land.

The application was approved.

Transport Statement – Prescot Road, Liverpool

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Transport Statement to support a planning application for a residential development on a former market site. The development consists of 54 apartments and 30 houses.

AMNI Transportation produced swept analysis to demonstrate that a refuse was able to safely negotiate in the proposed road layout.

As part of the work, AMNI Transportation undertook site observations to determine the actual capacity of traffic signals operating close to the development site. This information was used in the Transport Statement to evidence the available capacity within the local network and demonstrate that the proposed development would have negligible impact on the road network.

Transport Statement – Preeshall

AMNI Transportation was commissioned to develop a Transport Statement to support a planning application for a residential development on a plot of land. The development consists of a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom dwellings. In producing the Transport Statement, AMNI undertook swept path analysis to demonstrate how a refuse vehicle would negotiate within the proposed road layout.
